Reno 45 CO2 Laser Feature

High-Quality Powerful Cutting Capabilities

Why is the cutting ability of Reno series several times that of K40?

This is thanks to Monport's independent participation in the research and development of laser tubes, as well as the use of high-quality reflective and focusing lenses. Monport also does not cut corners in unseen places, so Reno45 can cut acrylic up to 15mm thick.

Industrial Exclusive Semi-Autofocus

The engineers at Monport have designed an extremely clever focusing method that is efficient, convenient, and maintains high cost-effectiveness. Even if you are a beginner, you can complete focusing in just a few seconds. Magnetic feedback makes you love it once you use it.

Fast, Efficient and High-Precision

Why can the Reno45 achieve a processing speed of 500mm/s, comparable to top products in the industry?

Because Monport has independently designed a brand new mechanism, including lightweight design, high-precision slides and customized motors. This is what makes the Reno45 so efficient.

Outstanding Spatial Performance

Considering the limitations of processing similar products in the market, Monport has achieved a working surface area of 400*300mm (twice that of K40) while maintaining a small body size. At the same time, the Z-axis can be adjusted up to 100mm (not available for other desktop products), and additional dual working platforms are provided: blade flat platform and honeycomb; Finally, there is a hidden front passthrough design. All of this is to give Reno stronger processing space.

Excellent Noise Control

Featuring excellent noise control, this laser operates with minimal sound, making it ideal for home or office use. The precise red light indication allows for accurate alignment of your projects, enhancing precision during engraving and cutting. Equipped with a silent assist air system, exhaust system, and water pump, it efficiently removes smoke and debris without generating excess noise, contributing to a peaceful workspace.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the Reno45 a good laser engraver for beginners in Australia?

A: Yes — the Reno45 is designed specifically for beginners and small business users in Australia. It features Magnetic Assisted Autofocus, an easy setup process, and compatibility with user-friendly software like LightBurn Core. Unlike entry-level machines that require upgrades, this system is ready to use out of the box, making it ideal for first-time users.

Q: Can I start a small business with a 45W CO₂ laser engraver?

A: Absolutely. A 45W CO₂ laser like the Reno45 is powerful enough to create and sell products such as custom signs, wedding decor, pet tags, acrylic products, and personalized gifts. Many Australian users start with Etsy, local markets, or small business orders and scale from there.

Q: What materials can a 45W CO₂ laser cut and engrave?

A: The Reno45 can cut and engrave a wide range of materials, including:
Wood (plywood, MDF, solid wood)
Acrylic (up to ~10–15mm depending on settings)
Leather
Rubber
Paper & cardboard
Foam
It can also engrave coated metals and glass.

Q: Do I need additional accessories like air assist or a water chiller?

A: The Reno45 comes ready to use straight out of the box.

Air assist is already included as standard, providing strong airflow to deliver clean, crisp cuts. For extended working sessions and better protection of the laser tube, we recommend upgrading to The 6L CW-5200 Industrial Water Chiller . This upgrade is optional but highly recommended for regular or business use.

Q: Is this laser engraver safe to use at home?

A: Yes — the Reno45 features an enclosed design that helps contain the laser during operation. It is suitable for home studios, garages, or small workshops. Proper ventilation is recommended, especially when cutting materials like acrylic.

Q: Do you ship from within Australia? How long is delivery?

A: Yes — orders are shipped from the Australian warehouse. Delivery typically takes 4–7 business days depending on your location. This ensures faster delivery and avoids international import delays.

Q: Is it difficult to learn how to use the Reno45?

A: Not at all. The Reno45 supports beginner-friendly software like LightBurn Core and comes with guided setup. Most users can complete their first project within a few hours, even without prior experience.
